Brief History of Educare Trust
On Thursday, October 20, 1994 at the Department of Agric-Biology, University of Ibadan, the founding members of Educare Trust aka ‘The Group’ brainstormed on the nearly three decades of dwindling fortune of Quality Education in Nigeria under the military regime. The Group resolved to approach the issue pragmatically and purposefully and embarked on their first project of fixing the leaking roof of a primary school, Salvation Army Primary School, Yemetu, Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. Since then, the Trust has played a responsible role in the development of the ‘Youth and Community’ showing that much can be achieved with little provided the will is strong.
