Educare Trust Youth Exhibition Centre (ETEC):
Located at Samonda along the Sango-U.I. Road, this center serves as a safe space for both in-school and out-of-school youth. It houses the Kolapo Oyefeso ‘Bookataria’ library, a computer lab (fostering ICT skills), and a creative arts/audio-visual studio.
Book for Schools” & Out-of-Classroom Programs:
The trust actively distributes WAEC syllabus textbooks to schools in and around Ibadan, hosts Holi-School programs during breaks, and runs the Quiz Nigerianna and Olaudah Equiano reading and writing clubs to promote literacy and critical thinking.
Civic Engagement & Health Awareness:
They lead seminars on career choices, basic democracy, good governance, and adolescent health, keeping youth actively engaged in public issues.
CSR Reform:
The Trust lobbies for corporate organizations to decentralize their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds directly to local communities, recommending that companies allocate 1% of pre-tax profits specifically toward education and youth resources at the branch level.
